Quality, integrity and value. by Robert E. Yeamans, 5/13/2004 I have dealt with the good people at Argo & Lehne Jewelers literally all my life and hold them in the highest esteem. My parents have likewise valued Argo & Lehne as their jeweler for nearly over 40-years. When asked to recommend a fine jeweler, no other group even crosses my mind. Robert E. Howard Toeller, 4/21/2004 You attempted to mislead a potential new client when you inspected a multi-stone wedding band. Two of your employees claimed there were three diamonds loose and the ring would be required to be left for as much as a week to accomplish the repair. In fact, the stones in the ring were securely attached which was confirmed by another local goldsmith the following week while the customer awaited the evaluation. We realize you employ off-site service providers for such work, however, it takes little expertise, especially when using a low power microscope, to ascertain if one or more stones are indeed loose in their mount. Perhaps neither employee is sufficiently schooled in this fundamental skill to make such a determination or they knowingly misled the potential customer for whatever reason. In any event, they won't be back as a result of this unfortunate error in judgement or business ethic. |
