Horrible Customer Service and resizing service by Anonymous, 5/26/2004 I took a ring I had purchased from an out-of-town jeweler to Fred Meyer to have it resized. I was told the resizing would take approximately three days. Five days later I still hadn't heard from Fred Meyer so I phoned them, they told me my ring wasn't finished yet, and upon further questioning the women admitted they may have "lost my ring." Three days later they located my ring and when I went to pick it up I was horrified. My ring was still the same size as before, but the band looked like it had been chipped with an ice pick, portions of the band were made uneven, and in places the silver was dull and looked as if it had been scraped off. I would never go back to Fred Meyer jeweler because along with ruining my ring, they refused to make it right by either replacing it, or fixing it for free. Their excuse was that all the rings they sold were worth more than the one I possessed. |
