Our experience with London's Jewelers was absolutely outstanding. by Andy S., 8/5/2004 I was refered by a friend to Mr. Danny Proctor at London's while looking for an engagement ring. I had an idea of the cut and size of stone I was after as well as the type ring my girlfriend wanted. I did not expect much from this visit due to the experiences I had at several mall and independent jewelers. What I got was a surprise. Mr. Proctor spent almost three hours with me showing me the various cuts, color, and clarity of stones. It was an education in diamonds and settings with no sales pitches or pressure. Mr. Proctor simply wanted me to know what was available, what looked good, and price ranges. After the three hours he showed me several settings he had in stock and got out several catalogs to look through. One of the rings he had in stock looked like the design my girlfriend wanted with a beautiful center stone already set. Mr. Proctor knew from listening to me (another thing no other jeweler I had visited had done) that ring was in line with what I was after. Not only did he give me a very reasonable price for the ring, he offered a discount on the wedding bands if I came back to him. My girlfriend couldn't believe the ring when I proposed! On top of this great service, Mr Proctor outdid himself when we came back to get wedding bands. He had my fiancee's band custom made to match he engagemnt ring and custom made my ring. Not only did he offer a discount as promised but personally delivered the rings to us the week of the wedding (a 100 mile drive)! I have never heard of one person going out of his way so much for a customer. My wife and I are now customers for life no matter where we live! |
