The staff was exceptionally patient, knowledgeable, and customer focused.
by The Gabrieles, 7/4/2004

My fiancee and I bought our engagement and wedding bands at the American Diamond Exchange. The staff was exceptionally curteous and patient during the hours we spent vascilating between all their gorgeous rings. The met our needs on quality and affordability. The staff was knowledgeable and helped guide us without being pushy or inconsiderate. Everywhere I go, people compliment me on my rings... and we would never shop anywhere else!

This comment is from the management of American Diamond Exchange, Inc.

Our reputation for the outstanding care and attention that we provide to each and every one of our long time relationships and our new clients is extraordinary. The benefits of doing business with American Diamond Exchange are outstanding. Our selection of merchandise, and our educated and non commissioned sales team are eager to answer all your questions and take all the time necessary to educate you in an effort to insure your comfort level and provide you with the confidence to do business with us. When you compare the quality of our merchandise to equal quality merchandise in the finest jewelry stores you will find our prices quite reasonable. Gem grader not willing to recognize an informed buyer and answer questions throughly

These comments refer to the Whalley Ave., New Haven store.

I was told, that with respect to GIA standards for an "Ideal" round cut diamond, that the pavillion depth "doesn't matter" I was also told that on same as previously mentioned that the crown angle "changes every year"....

The sales person did not listen closely, showed little interest in working with an informed buyer and was impatient and curt.

We also found that the prices were higher than other places that we have looked for as closely "apples to apples" comparisons that I have made.

We ended up figuring that if you have to put a large billboards in each direction of Interstate Routes 95N and 95S suggests that you are need to pull in all types of buyers....from the informed to the uninformed or misinformed.

I believe that the Whalley Ave store has good product, however...when making such an investment, i prefer to have all my questions answered in a professional manner.

We ended up doing business with a fine establishment in West Hartford,CT that answered our every detailed question and quelled our every doubt.

I would love to use the rating system below, but it is not clear to me which end of the scale represents which level of satisfaction or dissatisfaction.
