Bryan & Scott Jewelers Limited
Poor customer service. by Gary Holder, 7/27/2004 Good customer service says that you treat every individual who walks through the door like they are just as important as every other customer. Our experience has been just the opposite for the most part, even though we have purchased items at the store before. We were greeted in a friendly way by one lady and one man at the jewelry case on a Saturday morning, but were treated in a very condescending manner by the owner/manager when we asked questions about two pieces of merchandise. We immediately felt unwelcome and intimidated. I was interested specifically in your selection of Orthodox icons; (our church has a fund to buy icons and we are always looking for purchase recommendations) and I was pleased to see at least one in a glass case. My wife and I also considered the blue Chinese rug in the gallery upstairs, but I ended up not even inquiring about the icon of the Holy Napkin. Your merchandise is always unique, exquisite and your prices fair, but customer service and friendly atmosphere could use some polish. The impression you make on a customer from the moment he/she walks through the door will determine both a return visit as well as recommendations from the customer to friends looking for something really unique in one of the most beautiful stores in Colorado Springs. (These comments are not intended for publishing on the website, but we wanted you to know. Please commend the two clerks for understanding that customer service means a friendly smile and a helpful attitude.) |
