Mervis Diamond Importers
Rude by Anonymous, 8/2/2004 My fiance spent much of our dinner after the proposal telling me about his awful experience with Mervis. After initially looking at diamonds and settings, he returned to make the purchase. The orginal saleswoman he had met with (a manager at the store) was not there, so another sales associate met with him. As soon as she realized that he had already met with another sales person, she exclaimed "well, I guess I'm not getting commission from this one." She proceeded to make repeated comments about how she wasn't getting commission from the purchase and she acted very put-out to help my fiance. He was made to feel like a big inconvenience. When I heard this story, I tried calling the store myself to talk to the orginial sales person (the store manager) and tell her how disappointed I was to hear this story. Afterall, we still need to purchase our bands, so our repeat business was at stake. I left two messages and she never called me back! |
